MN City Impact Alliance Gathering at Redeeming Love Church
The Business Sector breakout in July, with Kevin Mitchell facilitating had a discussion on mentoring the next generation and advancing economic development in the inner city. Participants highlighted a wide range of existing mentoring efforts—from homeownership and career coaching to entrepreneurship and Kingdom business development—through initiatives such as Magnifi, Fish Tank Ministry, and Kingdom Privilege. The group also discussed strengthening collaboration by leveraging these efforts to build an ecosystem of opportunity, with Andy Schwandt's ongoing compilation of Mentorship Opportunities and Kevin launching a WhatsApp group to facilitate ongoing connection and idea sharing. For over two years, a group of committed marketplace leaders have been gathering to explore increased collaboration and partnership: www.faithworkmn.com. In September 2025, twelve different ministries hosted a collaborative "Faith & Work Summit" thanks to the generosity of CBMC, drawing nearly 200 marketplace leaders, and there are plans in development for a similar event in October 2026. We're adding new partners and resources every week as we discover more of God's work across Minnesota.
